The Lindsay Girls Hockey Association kicked off the season with two high-energy warm-up skates for our U11, U13, and U15 players. These sessions were packed with essential hockey skills, giving every player a chance to get back on the ice and sharpen their game before tryouts in two weeks.
Over the two days, players focused on key areas like edgework, backwards skating, quick starts, puck control, passing, shooting, and small-area games. There were plenty of puck touches and skating drills to build confidence and boost early-season energy. Every group showed great effort, strong listening, and a positive attitude throughout.
A big thank you goes out to Coach Jeremey, Coach Grant, and Coach Chris, with support from Coach Branden, for running fast-paced, engaging practices. We’d also like to extend our appreciation to all the players and goaltenders who came out and gave it their all — your hard work and enthusiasm set a great tone for the season ahead!
Let’s go, Lynx!
