Lynx Atom DS are Ready to Go
Submitted By khayman on Tuesday, December 8, 2015
The atom house league DS (development stream) team is well underway. We
have had a number of practices and had a terrific game with the peewee
house league team last weekend. We are looking forward to a
home-and-home series with teams from Aurora, Clarington, Scarborough and
West Northumberland.
For those unfamiliar, the DS program allows select house league
players to experience more competition and a higher level of play than
is available in house league alone. It was designed by the OWHA as a
"bridge" to rep hockey. We are pleased to have DS players representing
all 3 of our house league teams (blue, silver and purple).
Players, coaches and parents are looking forward to our first official game on December 13 vs. Clarington.
