Laura Brown and Taryn Lindquist had a strong games in the shutout win. Strong penalty killing from Emma Lees and Julia Sudsbury played a big part in helping Emma Francois record the shutout.

On Sunday the Lynx travelled to Toronto to take on Toronto Leaside (3754). The Lynx again got on the board first with Taylor Allen scoring after a pretty pass from behind the net from Nixon Francis. The Lynx made it 2-0 midway through the 2nd with Maddy Donnelly scoring from the slot on a nice pass from Hannah Vallier with Vallier and Allen getting the assists. Toronto Leaside got on the board early in the 3rd period to make it 2-1. Julia Staniland had a great opportunity to restore the 2 goal lead shortly after but was denied by the Leaside goalie on 2 great saves from in close. However, the Lynx were not able to protect the lead and Toronto Leaside came back to tie the game 2-2. Gracie Cunday had a great game for the Lynx and had 6 shots on net but the Leaside goalie was up to the challenge.

The Lynx will look to get back in the win column this Sunday as they face the 1st place Toronto Leaside (3751) in a battle for 1st place.
